Position Summary
Assured Guaranty is seeking an intern for Summer 2025 in the position of Financial Analyst in the Infrastructure Finance team in our London office. The Intern will work as part of transaction teams in the infrastructure finance sector and will be primarily responsible for analytical work on the underlying credit. The successful candidate will also participate in the presentation of transaction opportunities and structures to clients, investment banks, rating agencies and Assured Guaranty's internal credit committee.
Job Responsibilities
- Support transaction teams by conducting analytical work on infrastructure finance credits.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal and external presentations, including those to clients, investment banks, rating agencies, and internal credit committees.
- Gain exposure to the structuring and evaluation of financial guarantee transactions.
Candidate Background & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in finance or related fields
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other technical tools
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
