Results Expected
- Within 3 months:
- Achieve 99.99% uptime across all critical services (Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Reduce infrastructure provisioning time by 50% through automation and IaC implementation
- Within 6 months:
- Implement comprehensive disaster recovery architecture with <10 minute RTO (Recovery Time Objective)
- Deploy automated monitoring and alerting system that reduces incident detection time to <2 minutes
- Identify and productize a manual process into a self-service plugin for the our Engineering Portal, enabling engineers to achieve consistent results with the same high standards.
- Within 12 months:
- Scale platform to handle 10x current transaction volume without performance degradation
- Establish GitOps workflows that enable daily deployments with zero manual intervention
Technical Competencies
- Infrastructure Mastery:
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments
- Manage PostgreSQL databases at scale with replication, backup, and performance optimization
- Implement and maintain Redis and Elasticsearch clusters for high-availability scenarios
- Automation & DevOps:
- Develop automated workflows that enable engineers to move faster while ensuring everything is secure.
- Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible
