As an PKI Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, Identity & Access Management, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.
Job responsibilities:

  • Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applications
  • Implement and manage PKI solutions within Active Directory, AWS and other environments.
  • Drive a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
  • Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
  • Work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to implementation
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Formal training or certification on troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Extensive experience in implementing and managing PKI infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of PKI, digital certificates, encryption
  • Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
  • Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to technical stakeholders, platform architects, product security leads.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in Active Directory Certificate Services
  • Experience with other PKI products like EJBCA, AWS PCA or Keyfactor is a plus
  • Relevant AWS certifications or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
