Job Description: 

As a Devops and Infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a custom built platform for Product Lifecycle and Defect management, which is developed on Java, MSSQL, Elastic search, Neo4j running on Win/Linux operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end L3 support by troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to the platform.

• Perform troubleshooting and bug fixes in Java/API and SQL, with a strong understanding of GitHub deployment processes.

• Proactively identify and address potential issues through infrastructure monitoring and automation using Python or other scripting languages.

• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Java development and/or SQL administration and development.

• Implement enhancements in Java, following the SDLC lifecycle, including design, development, QA, release, and support of the platform and applications.

• Facilitate the transition from a legacy monolithic system to a microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar software fields of study

• 4+ years of experience in SQL development, writing and tuning stored procedures and queries Or 4+ years of SW development in Java

• 4+ years of experience in Developing middleware/webservices, including any relational database such as MSSQL/MySQL.

• 1+ years of experience with any scripting language such as Python/Powershell/Perl

• Advanced English level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to SW development in JAVA or other Object oriented language

• Master degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

• Experience working knowledge of Linux.

• Experience with any scripting language such as Python/Powershell/Perl

• Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Redis.

• Working in an agile methodology with emphasis on CI/CD.

• Writing and tuning stored procedures/queries.
