About Netskope

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security.

Since 2012, we have built the market-leading cloud security company and an award-winning culture powered by hundreds of employees spread across offices in Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our core values are openness, honesty, and transparency, and we purposely developed our open desk layouts and large meeting spaces to support and promote partnerships, collaboration, and teamwork. From catered lunches and office celebrations to employee recognition events (pre and hopefully post-Covid) and social professional groups such as the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), we strive to keep work fun, supportive and interactive.  Visit us at Netskope Careers. About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure AV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AV systems, Unified Communications, network integration, and experience working with modern AV control systems and video conferencing technologies.

As an Infrastructure AV Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Executives, and end-users, to ensure that all AV systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and user experience.

  • Video Conferencing Systems: Set up and configure video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx) to integrate with hardware solutions (cameras, microphones, etc.).
  • Networking: Ensure AV systems are properly connected to the network, configuring IP-based video systems and managing AV over IP (AVoIP) configurations when necessary.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on AV equipment and systems, including calibration, software updates, and firmware patches.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues related to audio, video, or system connectivity. Provide support to users to ensure smooth operations during live events or meetings.
  • Repairs & Replacements: Oversee equipment repairs and replacements, working with vendors to ensure the necessary parts are procured and replaced.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to operate AV equipment and control systems in meeting rooms and event spaces.
  • Support: Offer ongoing technical support for users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise during meetings, presentations, or events.
  • Documentation: Create clear, accessible user manuals and guides for AV equipment usage and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration: Work with project managers, IT teams, and external contractors to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of AV solutions.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with AV equipment vendors and service providers to procure necessary equipment and resolve service-related issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, installation processes, maintenance schedules, and support logs.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of AV systems to ensure they are functioning optimally, especially during high-traffic events or meetings.
  • Optimizations: Suggest improvements to existing AV systems to enhance performance and user experience, staying up-to-date with emerging AV technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in audio-visual system integration, installation, and support. Experience working in corporate AV environments or large-scale event setups is preferred.
  • Proficient with AV hardware (cameras, microphones, speakers, projectors, screens), control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron), and video conferencing technologies (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx).
  • Strong understanding of basic networking protocols and AV-over-IP (AVoIP) solutions, including signal routing, video distribution, and network configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot AV equipment and resolve issues efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrated AV systems that align with specific business needs and workflows.
  • Experience with video conferencing systems and tools such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco WebEx, and Skype for Business.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to support end-users and provide timely, effective solutions.
  • Ability to focus on the finer details of system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with room booking systems and integration with AV equipment (e.g., Gmail, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of AV industry standards and best practices for system design and installation.
  • Experience in large-scale events or conference production environments

 Education/Travel:
