The WCC DevOps team is part of Intel's Wireless Connectivity Solutions division, responsible for developing wireless products across multiple domains. We specialize in creating scalable systems that streamline the development lifecycle, enabling continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) with a strong focus on software quality, reliability, observability, and automation. We work with a wide range of technologies across Linux, Windows, and embedded systems, supporting diverse products and globally distributed engineering teams.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer (8+ years of experience) to join our team and play a key role in enabling multi domain development workflows across Wireless Connectivity Solutions. If you're passionate about AI-driven automation, infrastructure reliability, and building scalable CI/CD systems, and thrive in complex, high-impact environments—this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a DevOps Engineer in our team, you will:
• Work with developers from multiple domains (WiFi, Bluetooth, firmware, and driver stacks) to enable scalable and efficient DevOps workflows
• Design and build AI-driven DevOps solutions (e.g., failure analysis, pipeline intelligence, workflow automation, or agent-based systems) to improve developer productivity
• Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines at scale to support fast and reliable software releases
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex build, infrastructure, and system-level issues across diverse environments
• Own and evolve critical DevOps infrastructure, including
o Jenkins (pipeline development, Groovy scripting, DSL)
o Kubernetes clusters
o Elastic Stack (ELK) for logging and observability
o Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting
o Ubuntu/Linux-based systems
• Drive improvements in system automation, observability, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and maintain configuration management using Ansible, along with scripting in Python and Bash
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to improve engineering productivity and workflow efficiency
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements
• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale CI/CD systems (strong Jenkins pipeline expertise required)
• Experience designing or applying AI-driven approaches to improve DevOps workflows or infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s)
• Solid experience working in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred)
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Proficient with Git and GitHub-based workflows
• Hands-on experience with configuration management (Ansible)
• Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging and observability
Nice to Have
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience working with virtualization (e.g., QEMU)
