We're building the compliance operating system for a new era. Our mission is ambitious and global — bringing clarity and automation to one of the world's most complex and underserved domains. We are a founding team that has done this before, and we believe AI has created a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform how companies understand, execute, and demonstrate compliance.
The RoleFew categories of this scale have yet to have their AI moment. Compliance is one of them. We have spent months under wraps building an ambitious product that will define this market. Now we are building out the founding commercial team to go capture it.
The companies we serve operate in some of the most demanding regulatory environments in the world. Serving them well requires more than great technology — it requires people who understand their world deeply. In this role you will be that person: working alongside our commercial and product teams to bring genuine domain expertise to every customer conversation, from first pitch through to ongoing engagement.
You will help prospective customers understand how Freda maps to their specific security and compliance reality, support onboarding and implementation, and ensure customers get real value from the product in their particular context. You will also help define how our product offering is shaped to meet specific domain requirements.
What You'll DoWork with prospective customers to demonstrate how Freda addresses their specific information security obligations and needs
Support onboarding and implementation directly — rolling up your sleeves to help customers get controls, tooling, and processes in place, not just advising from the sidelines
Build trust with security, engineering, and risk stakeholders across our customer base
Help shape how we position and talk about Freda within the information security and compliance landscape
Identify product gaps and opportunities from what you see in the market, and bring those back clearly to the product team
You might come from an in-house security or compliance function, a consulting background where you were hands-on with implementation, or somewhere else entirely. What matters is that you've actually built and operated security programs — not just advised on them. You have developed a strong "gut feeling" — you can translate security and compliance frameworks into practical guidance for tech companies operating across different markets and growth stages.
Deep understanding of information security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, 42001, SOC 2, DORA, NIS2, CRA, and AI Act)
You've implemented security frameworks in practice — you know what it actually takes to get a company through a SOC 2 audit or run a quality ISO 27001 program, not just what the requirements say
The ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders — from CTOs and engineering leads to compliance teams — without hiding behind jargon
A product mindset: you're not just interested in the frameworks, you're interested in how technology can change how companies engage with them
Genuine enthusiasm for being part of an early team, where your work directly shapes what we build and how we grow
Fluent and opinionated about how AI can be applied to compliance work — comfortable using AI-assisted tools daily, able to judge where they add real value versus where human expertise is non-negotiable, and eager to push the boundaries of what's possible
From day one, you will have real ownership and immediate impact. We are still a small team and are only getting started. For those who thrive, there is no limit to how far you can grow — in role, scope, and impact.
LocationWe have global ambitions from day one. We are hiring a commercial team to cover the Nordics, the UK, DACH, and France — and we are open to people working from our Stockholm office and traveling frequently, or being based in their local market.
