As a member of Eataly’s Information Technology (IT) team, the IT Specialist is primarily responsible for evaluating and implementing IT strategy and solutions for several Eataly USA locations (NY & NJ as well as Corporate office), and for providing advice to upper-level management about Eataly’s IT needs and structure. The IT Specialist reports to the Director of IT, but works autonomously, without specific directions from senior managers and without immediate supervision.
- Develops and implements standard operating procedures and service level agreements
- Manages IT projects from start to finish
- Advises management regarding and supports IT infrastructure and other needs for several Eataly USA locations (stores and Corporate office)
- Supports implementation of technology during new store openings and new store system implementation initiatives
- Manages services for the day-to-day POS systems and ensures performance and stability of in-stores POS applications
- Provides support and resolution to customer service requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Analyzes system issues, provides resolutions and is integral in development and enhancement of IT systems
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- + 2 years of related IT experience
- Specialized knowledge in computer systems analysis
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- Excellent communication, motivation and team-building skills
Job Requirements
- Occasional travel within the USA
The hourly rate for this position is $24-33 per hour
