Job Description:At Regions, the Information Technology Product Manager Team Manager is responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of software products developed at Regions. The manager at this level provides oversight for the delivery of a portfolio of software products and features and drives product strategy and overall roadmap for the entire Application Development team corresponding to the team’s assigned business unit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads all aspects of the development and management of a comprehensive offering of software products as well as strategic planning
- Functions as a subject-matter expert on the software products during all phases of the product lifecycle
- Takes advantage of opportunities and growth in the industry to develop state-of-the-art software products to be used by Regions’ associates
- Ensures successful implementation of critical changes to software products to address potential exposure to risk
- Serves as the main point of contact and communicates with key stakeholders, providing updates on product development and vision
- Supports and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives
- Partners across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data (TODD) to ensure controls are designed, implemented, and monitored to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cyber security, effectively mitigating risk to levels within the company’s risk appetite
- Ensures disciplined change management by evaluating risk and control impacts when designing or implementing changes to processes, systems, products, and/or services
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field and ten (10) years of experience in product development/management or related field
- Or High School Diploma/GED and fourteen (14) years of experience in product development/management or related field
- Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience
Preferences
- Banking or financial services experience
- Experience in software product management/ownership, business systems analysis, information technology project management, or experience on a software development team
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Github, and Agile software development practices
- Proficiency in researching and analyzing data using SQL queries and Microsoft Excel

Lead intake and prioritization of development work aligned to business goals
Own product lifecycle and delivery for enterprise software platforms
Provide status reporting on key initiatives, timelines, and team productivity
Drive asset-based lending platform strategy (equipment leasing/financing), including gap analysis for real estate integration
Oversee BA and QA functions to ensure quality requirements and delivery
Lead cross-functional teams and define product strategy within modern cloud environments
Translate business needs into scalable application solutions

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.
