The Role

🚀 The Marketing Application Design department from Bosch Security and Safety Systems is looking for an enthusiastic intern!

Within our team we integrate systems of strategic partners to Bosch communication systems. The Bosch products and systems are interfaced to the outside world and connected within the eco system of the end-user to offer a complete solution and offering a ‘’wow” factor. Therefore interfacing should be flawless.

Are you studying IT, Computer Science, or comparable education and looking for a challenging and internationally oriented internship?  For our team located in Eindhoven, we are looking for a motivated intern to join our team!

🛠️ Your Tasks

• Conduct exploratory testing of existing IP-based interfaces between systems;
• Use tools such as Wireshark to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network traffic protocols (e.g. TCP-IP, ONVIF, BAC-net, MQTT);
• Identify issues, inefficiencies, or discrepancies in the integration of different systems;
• List and document findings from testing activities, highlighting any problems or anomalies;
• Perform root cause analysis to determine the source of issues or integration failures;
• Collaborate with R&D and technology partners to discuss findings and potential solutions;
• Implement suggested improvements in collaboration with relevant teams;
• Develop “how-to” guides for setting up and troubleshooting the various IP-based interfaces;
• Update and improve existing solution papers to reflect new findings, improvements, and best practices.

Qualifications

🎓 What You Bring:

• You are currently studying Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, or a similar direction;
• You have IP-based and interfacing knowledge;
• You have PC application knowledge;
• You are proficient in English verbal and written;
• You are available for the minimum internship period of 6 months, preferably longer;
• You can work at our office in Eindhoven;
• You are based in the Netherlands, preferably in Eindhoven.
