Under the direction of the IT Supervisor, the IT EHR Analyst is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, support, training, and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. This role supports workflow efficiency, system integration, data reporting, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and organizational operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Support implementation, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of EHR applications.
- Evaluate, test, and recommend EHR-related software and hardware solutions.
- Assist with workflow analysis, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate integration and interface functionality between multiple systems across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and Quality teams to support reporting, gap analysis, HEDIS measures, and quality improvement efforts.
- Assist with staff training related to EHR workflows, documentation, and system functionality.
- Work with external vendors regarding system upgrades, repairs, and support.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
- Provide technical support and excellent customer service to staff and end users.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred, or minimum five (5) years of related experience.
- Knowledge of EHR systems, database concepts, and workflow integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard office equipment.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Maintains professionalism and positive working relationships with staff, patients, vendors, and the public.
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Adaptable, motivated, and receptive to learning and process improvement.

- Primarily office-based environment.
- May require prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels).
- Requires adequate vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and communication abilities necessary to perform job duties effectively.
Skills Required
- BA degree in Information Technology or five years experience in relevant job duties
- Basic understanding of database design and data management concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience with office equipment and PC application software including MS Office
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
- Excellent Customer Service skills
