DESCRIPTION:
As a Business Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to bridging business needs with technology solutions to advance our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency. Working in an agile environment, you'll help define and document business requirements, create user stories, facilitate workshops, and ensure successful project delivery. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to critical business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Triage of support tickets and follow up with end users
- Develop functional specifications based on business requirements
- Implement configuration changes in SAP
- Develop high level design and coordinate with development team
- Create and execute test scripts, capture defects, verify fixes and report updates
- Perform UAT testing
- Coordination of enhancements requiring development, including handoff calls between teams
- Troubleshoot issues, identify problems and develop practical solutions
- Develop change and release documentation
- Support change management processes
Requirements:
- HS Degree required, but Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, engineering, or related field preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- SAP Experience is a must
- Baan IV Experience
- Knowledge of Thermo Fisher Scientific Operating Systems
- Experience and knowledge of medical products
- Experience working in Health IT or regulated environment is highly desired
- Experience documenting system documentation, requirements, and release notes
- Experience documenting status reports, creating system metrics, policies and trainings as needed.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Solid project management and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- No more than 25% travel during a year.

- 5+ years of relevant experience
