Job Description
BryceTech is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer to support our US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) customer.
Customer Background Information: Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power is the Space Systems Command Program Executive Office (PEO) focused on delivering cyber, ground- and space-based systems that rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems, while also providing National Security deterrence capabilities countering those identified threats to prevail in a space conflict.
SSC/SZ-BC provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected Department of Defense (DoD) operational requirements. SSC/SZ-BC develops, integrates, tests, deploys, sustains, and supports operations for systems that meet strategic and tactical operational needs. SSC provides unrivaled space systems to ensure survival for both the United States Space Force and our nation. These systems span the entire acquisition life cycle. This contract will support multiple SSC/SZ-BC programs, as well as various other Space Force, Air Force, and mission partner programs.
The effort will support the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC), and their mission partners. This mission area requires personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience analyzing and evaluating current events, and providing recommendations to the Unit leadership to help assure continuity of activities and processing of security requirements are effectively integrated through security architecture, design, development, and configuration
- Knowledgeable on organization and execution of contingency planning, testing, and validation for all aspects of information systems security
- Expertise in providing continuous assessment of mission effectiveness, identification and analysis of the external threat environment for impacts on mission effectivity and future requirements. Experience researching, evaluating, and reporting the current and evolving threat
- Ability to enhance current operations and development activities by synergistically migrating assessments and ideas within the Intelligence Community/DoD community
- Experience accessing multiple sources and experts/agencies
- Experience performing oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy with special emphasis on integration of existing SAP network infrastructures
- Expertise in development and execution of analysis of network security, based on risk management framework with emphasis on Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide authorization process.
Description of work:
1. Provide cyber security support in accordance with DoDI 8500.01. The Contractor shall provide recommendations regarding cyber activities, including techniques, packets, and mission partner responsibilities. The Contractor shall provide cyber security issues and recommendations briefings to the Government, as requested, and facilitate and support cyber security working groups, IPTs, as well as other systems engineering and cyber security-related working groups, reviews, and meetings, to include agendas, minutes, presentations, and action items.
2. Maintain awareness and manage, as applicable, any program Authority to Operate, Authority to Test, Authority to Connect, as well as the associated Interim Authorities. The Contractor shall support cyber testing and assessment activities and document findings and corrective actions IAW Federal Information Security Management Act.
3. Develop draft intelligence requirements and staffing packages, provide advisement on intelligence reports, translate program requirements into intelligence needs and requirements, and recommend courses of action to support mission-related activities. The Contractor shall assist the Government with identifying and translating vulnerabilities and deficiencies identified through intelligence products into technical requirements. The Contractor shall coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and organizations and manage multiple schedules to deliver intelligence products.
4. The Contractor shall utilize acquisition and intelligence community standards and processes to support the program manager in evaluating tradeoffs between cost, schedule, and performance.

Educational Requirements: MA/MS
Experience Requirements:
- 20+ years of relative experience.
- SME, Recognized Industry Leader.
- Experience with MS Office Suite of Tools.
Additional Information
Must have TS/SCI and have current SCI access.
Position is contingent on BryceTech winning a prime bid on the USSF SSC HEMISPHERE contract and subsequent TOs.
