Summary
CTC Group is seeking Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) for a contingent program supporting mission-critical cybersecurity infrastructure. In this role, you will help design and secure complex computing environments, identify vulnerabilities, assess security risks, and develop practical mitigation strategies. You will work alongside engineers, architects, and Government customers to build security into systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade
Responsibilities
- Serve as a security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
- Help design and integrate Information Assurance (IA) architectures, systems, and security components
- Provide security engineering leadership throughout system design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration
- Apply IA policies, procedures, and security best practices to develop secure and resilient computing environments
- Collaborate directly with Government customers, engineers, architects, and other technical team members
- Evaluate system architectures and recommend security solutions that meet mission and operational requirements
- Support the design and implementation of trusted relationships between interconnected systems and architectures
- Conduct security planning, technical assessments, risk analysis, and risk management activities
- Identify security requirements for protecting and properly handling Government data
- Assess vulnerabilities and security risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies
- Design secure systems and networks spanning multiple enclaves and differing data protection or classification requirements
- Develop system-level solutions to address complex security requirements
- Help ensure security is incorporated throughout the system engineering and development lifecycle
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- CISSP Certification is required.
Level 2 Qualifications
- Fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- IASAE Level 2 (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP) & CISSP Certification required
- Twenty (20) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience.
- IASAE Level 3 (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP) & CISSP + ISSEP Certifications required.
