We are looking for an IS Analyst II to join our team in Smyrna, TN. In this role, you will act as a strategic internal consultant, bridging business needs with innovative technology solutions. This role is key to optimizing processes, enhancing systems, and driving impactful improvements across global business functions.

A Day in the Life
  • Lead analysis across business processes, technology, cost structures, and strategy to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to deliver effective and scalable system solutions.

  • Serve as a liaison between business units and service providers, ensuring alignment and successful execution.

  • Lead resolution of system incidents by coordinating across multiple third-party vendors.

  • Translate and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Support cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives impacting global operations.

  • Drive agile delivery, taking initiatives from requirements through implementation efficiently.

  • Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.

  • Develop and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, use cases, system designs).

  • Perform gap analyses across regions and processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with Solution Architects to develop technology roadmaps and reduce redundancy and cost.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend solutions.

  • Act as the key conduit between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear understanding and execution of requirements.

  • Work with developers and SMEs to define solutions that balance usability, scalability, and performance.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contract execution, and cost/feasibility analysis.

  • Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing workload and navigating cross-functional dependencies.

Who We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

  • 5+ Years overall IS/IT experience with at least:

    • 5+ years application development experience.

    • 5+ years experience in working with third party vendors.
       

  • Working knowledge of interface with external systems.

  • Interface with mainframe system experience a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and application development process.

  • Occasional travel may be needed in support of project work.

Desired:

  • Prior experience working with offshore personnel.

  • AWS cloud and Salesforce experience.

  • Interface with mainframe system experience.
