Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting an Information Management Engineer to join our team in Arlington, VA, with potential for hybrid work. The Information Management Engineer will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technology-enabled information management solutions for a federal customer’s international programs. This role is well suited for a technically capable professional with experience in information management, SharePoint, workflow solutions, dashboards, records management, and business process improvement. 

The Information Management Engineer will:

• Develop and maintain repositories used to track international arrangements, agreements, activities, and associated reporting requirements.
• Develop, populate, and maintain internal and public-facing webpages, collaboration platforms, dashboards, and information resources.
• Support development and continuous improvement of technology-enabled solutions for international program and travel management.
• Work with technical and program stakeholders to translate operational requirements into practical information management solutions.
• Maintain and refine electronic information management systems, workflows, repositories, and related business processes.
• Evaluate existing tools and processes and recommend solutions that improve usability, automation, records management, retention, and reporting.
• Support implementation and maintenance of an enterprise international travel process and associated portal or information management solution.
• Develop dashboards, reports, statistics, charts, and other visualizations to provide leadership visibility into program and travel activity.
• Develop user guidance, FAQs, training materials, and other resources and provide customer-focused support to system users.
• Coordinate with information technology, communications, security, records management, and program stakeholders to ensure solutions meet technical and operational requirements.
• Support data quality, information governance, records organization, and lifecycle management across program systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve the customer experience through technology and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline (or applicable years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Public Trust required; TS/SCI security clearance preferred
• Experience developing or maintaining enterprise information management, collaboration, workflow, or business technology solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, dashboards, databases, or comparable platforms strongly preferred.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical or technology-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of information management, records management, data visualization, workflow automation, and/or business process improvement.
• Strong customer service, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
