Position Summary
ECS is seeking an Information Exchange Engineer - Junior to support the ARNG ENOCS program by contributing to the design and implementation of system-to-system integrations and data exchange solutions in Fairfax, VA. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring secure and reliable data transmission across enterprise systems, enhancing interoperability, and supporting the mission objectives of the Army National Guard. Working under supervision, the candidate will assist in developing interface control documentation and adhere to established integration standards and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement system-to-system integrations for enhanced data exchange.
- Develop and maintain interface control documentation to support integration activities.
- Ensure secure data transmission mechanisms are in place for enterprise systems.
- Validate interoperability between systems through testing and validation activities.
- Assist in applying integration standards and documentation practices.
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity requirements to ensure secure information exchange.
- Collaborate with team members to solve integration challenges and improve system performance.
- Participate in the development and execution of testing protocols for system integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Basic proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): CND
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Up to 3 years of experience in system integration, information exchange, or interface engineering within DoD or Federal IT environments
- Experience in developing and implementing system-to-system integrations and data exchange solutions
- Ability to assist in developing interface control documentation and secure data transmission mechanisms
- Experience in testing and validation activities to ensure system interoperability
