Information Developer (Technical Writing)

Role Overview

• We are looking for detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and motivated Technical Writers to join our dynamic Product Documentation team.
• This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about writing, curious about emerging technologies, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment.
• The selected candidate will handle creating clear, concise, and user-centric documentation that enhances product understanding and adoption.
• They will work closely with engineering, product management, and senior writers to deliver high-quality content aligned with our documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and support user manuals, API documentation, installation/configuration guides, FAQs, and online help systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical insights and understand product workflows.
• Edit &refine existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.
• Use DITA, single sourcing, and content reusability principles.
• Follow documentation standards and style guides such as the MS Style Guide.
• Participate in peer reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Gain exposure to bug tracking and task management tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Contribute to process improvements and content strategy initiatives.

What you should have:

• Required Qualifications:
• 3–8 years of experience in technical writing or related roles.
• Exposure to telecommunications or software development is a plus.
• Core Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical clarity.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Preferred Skills & Tools:
•  Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Sprint, and DevOps environments.
• Experience with structured authoring and DITA principles.
• Proficient in authoring tools such as oXygen XML, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, and ArborText.
• Knowledge of markup languages (Markdown, AsciiDoc), CMS platforms (Confluence,Notion), 
• & version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and scripting (Python, JavaScript).
• Awareness of UX writing, accessibility, and content design.
• Experience with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io).
• Interest in emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT, Cloud, and RAN.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and LLM.
