Job Family Definition:
Analyzes customer information requirements and product specifications to define a technical content strategy and plan. Designs and develops written and/or visual product-related information – hard copy, HTML, Video, WalkMes - (e.g., user/configuration/troubleshooting guides), and online information (interactive demos, help systems) integrated into product, for a variety of audiences (end user, system administrators, internal support engineers, product developers, training developers). Codes, builds, compiles, and tests online information and/or sets up, loads, and tests system hardware to create information deliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development. As a customer advocate, helps define/refine product requirements. Develops standards and style documents and templates, scripts, style sheets, and script and graphic libraries to ensure a common look and feel. Interfaces with cross-functional areas as a member of the product development team, including marketing, testing, support, and manufacturing.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader, providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and the team decision-making process. What you will do :
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a First Level University degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related technical/communications field, and a minimum of 4-6 years related experience, or an Advanced University degree and 2-4 years experience, or equivalent.
Proven ability to create customer-centric technical product documentation.
Understands concepts and develops in-depth working knowledge of products, applications, and systems in the assigned area of responsibility.
Ability to deliver documentation on multiple project technical requirements, schedules, and information formats.
Familiar with HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, or similar as required. May provide help systems that are integrated with software products that use proprietary coding methods.
