Information Assurance Manager

Our client is looking for a strong technical leader to guide a team of more than (20) Information Assurance analysts managing security for legacy logistics and engineering applications for the US Coast Guard. Functions include establishing IT asset controls, administrating security requirements, registering security actions, and overseeing plans to answer identified vulnerabilities. The IA Manager will have broad experience running teams in a DHS/DOD risk management framework environment following NIST SP 800-53 implementation guidance, SP 800-37 life cycle management, and related policies. The Manager will control the team's operating budget, value delivery, and individual performance.

YOUR work location is the US Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Hybrid working arrangements are considered, but a tangible presence at the ALC is vital.
