Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and execute IT projects to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation with complete and accurate information.
- Specify appropriate hardware solutions and coordinate with third-party IT providers as needed.
- Conduct initial workflow analysis prior to deployment.
- Install and configure software including operating systems, applications, and databases.
- Deliver structured training to laboratory professionals on system operation and maintenance.
- Provide comprehensive technical support via phone, remote access, and on-site visits.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, project managers, IT, LIS/HIS personnel, and lab managers.
- Support post-sales IT activities and provide expert knowledge to internal teams.
- Assist in technical aspects of procurement and respond to commercial inquiries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and update customer contact systems.
- Work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical Informatics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Degree in medical technology, electrical/mechanical engineering, or clinical laboratory science.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing and supporting IT solutions in the medical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in computer science, information systems, medical technology, or a related field.
- Background as a medical technologist is highly preferred.
- Experience in clinical laboratory environments is ideal; other lab experience is acceptable.
- Strong understanding of general networking, server technologies/services, workstation/desktop systems, internet protocols, and remote connectivity.
- Skilled in Microsoft Windows Server (NT/2000/XP/2003).
- Proficient in virtual server environments, corporate antivirus solutions, backup systems, firewalls, VPN clients, and tunnel technologies.
- Familiarity with lab workflows and operations.
