As a Japan Influencer Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and execution of influencer marketing strategies to build the Roblox brand and drive business results in Japan. This role focuses on building relationships with influencers, leading strategies on influencer-focused events and executions, and managing campaigns that resonate with the Japanese audience.
This role is a part-time position based in Japan for 20 hours per week
You will:
- Collaborate with the Head of Influencer Marketing, Head of APAC Marketing and relevant agencies to plan and execute localized marketing campaigns and events.
- Serve as a key point of contact for influencers, handling day-to-day communication and inquiries.
- Facilitate outreach efforts, influencer onboarding, and contract management in collaboration with the team.
- Handle day to day relationship management with our Japanese influencers
- Assist influencers in understanding and adhering to Roblox's brand guidelines and marketing requirements (Example: FTC Guidelines).
- Collect and review influencer-generated content, ensuring it aligns with Roblox’s community guidelines and values.
- Organize and maintain a repository of influencer content for future marketing use and reference.
- Assist in collecting data and performance metrics from influencer campaigns with tools like Tubular.
- Support the preparation of performance/event reports and provide insights to help evaluate success.
- Maintain list of influencer partners/applications
- Manage administrative tasks such as handling the influencer inbox, scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and preparing presentations for the team.
- Help maintain budgets, track expenses, and process payments related to influencer collaborations.
- Cultivate positive relationships with influencers and content creators to foster lasting partnerships.
- Engage with the influencer community on social media platforms to support relationship-building efforts.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven passion for influencer marketing and a strong curiosity about gaming industry, particularly Roblox.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure precise campaign execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with influencers and team members.
- Proficiency in managing administrative tasks and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of influencer marketing trends.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data for reporting purposes.
- Proficiency in using influencer management and tracking tools, spreadsheets, and project management software (example: Salesforce, Tubular).
- Fluent in speaking and writing Japanese
