L.L.Bean is looking for an Influencer Marketing Planner to join our Marketing Team.
We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in one of the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.
The Influencer Marketing Planner possesses comprehensive knowledge of, and has extensive experience with, L.L.Bean’s organic social channels ensuring that they remain active, align with our brand and product objectives and are always in state of continuous improvement and innovation. This role will have ownership of the Influencer editorial calendar and publishing plans, process development milestones, and supports the overall influencer marketing program. The position will act as an advocate for organic social with a passion for the platforms and for driving fresh, engaging creative ideas. This role also proactively provides recommendations of social media strategies that align with L.L.Bean’s organizational initiatives and goals as well as provides feedback and analysis of the current state.
Responsibilities:
Schedule, approve, edit and publish content for all social media platforms while providing direction for content creation with Influencers.
Serve as a liaison to the Creative team, including managing needs and making recommendations related to planned posts and creative assets. Ensure all Creative guidelines are being met.
Gather requirements from stakeholders and draft creative strategy briefs to inform content initiatives.
Serve as the primary connection to partners (e.g. EComm & Content, Brand Engagement, etc.) to plan, track initiatives, and drive awareness.
Manage monthly social media performance reports and metric readouts on Ambassador and Influencer campaigns as well as manage integrations for social media (e.g. Spotify).
Expertise in social media apps, platforms, and content planning tools including, BazaarVoice, Sprout Social, and Aspire IQ, as well as all native social platforms.
Source content creators and User Generated Content that fits the brand’s aesthetic and/or needs for social and marketing funnels. Acquire content rights via platform tools. Assist and support PDP integration.
Research, recommend and recruit a strong and diverse roster of creators, provide support through ideating on content verticals and series opportunities with a focus on growth markets, pop up integration and partnership support.
Research and recommend opportunities to expand the content creator program onto emerging platforms and evolving mediums, ie. Substack, influencer events, partnership integrations.
Create influencer campaigns including campaign set up, outreach, negotiations, contracts, product ordering, content approvals, FTC compliance, payment and analysis. Provide support for all in-bound requests for influencer campaigns.
Uses a strong acumen around identifying great creative and compelling, relevant social media concepts and editorial opportunities that will drive engagement and support key product priorities.
Support content needs through own content creation or supporting internal content creation.
May manage assigned personnel. Make/review employment decisions. Establish performance objectives, assign work, monitor workload and appraise performance. Coach and develop employees in job related skills through work assignment, direct training and regular feedback, both positive and negative. Administer wages and salaries. Resolve personnel problems following company policies and procedures. Assist employees in identifying personal development and career needs. Provide guidance and support on these issues. Communicate and monitor adherence to company policies, procedures and programs. Review and update job descriptions, organization structure and staffing levels. Oversee the maintenance and updating of related records. Minimize risks of work-related injuries and illnesses and associated costs, including lost work time.

Education Level: 4-Year Bachelors Degree
Years of Experience: 5-10 years
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills and fully proficient in all O365 programs
Savvy with new technology and learning new systems
A strong creative thinker and executor who can easily generate new ideas on their own and in teams
An understanding of the social media landscape and popular trends, including influencer marketing best practices
Attention to detail and highly organized
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Collaborative work style
Ability to lead teams without managerial oversight
Ability to embrace new processes and adjust current as needed to remain innovative; future focused
