As the Influencer Manager (Contract) for VALORANT , you will work with the team to bring influencer engagement strategies to life through direct relationship management, digital and online campaigns and collaborate with other teams within APAC Publishing to execute campaigns related to products across Riot’s portfolio that serve as the foundation of building a thriving community of Riot fans. You'll participate in a community of Influencer craft experts, helping to support a best-in-class strategy to ensure we're all working towards the same goals when we engage with Influencers in our campaigns across your market.
This role reports to Local Community Lead, Thailand - VALORANT
Responsibilities:- With oversight from the Local Community Lead, support the development and execution regional influencer strategies for VALORANT-related projects within Riot’s portfolio that ladder into and support Global opportunities and outcomes
- Advocate for creator needs, identifying strategic opportunities aligned with Riot and VALORANT’s goals
- Manage your market’s creator relationships, including contracting, onboarding, activations, and communications across streaming platforms, social media, and community discussions
- Monitor your market’s creator economy, identifying emerging VALORANT creators and market trends while escalating issues to the Global Influencer team
- Collaborate with Community, Brand, Creative, Social, and PR teams to drive player-first, globally integrated campaigns
- Serve as your market’s VALORANT influencer representative in cross-functional team syncs, ensuring consistency across Riot Product, Dev, Esports, and Publishing
- Report campaign performance, using data to evaluate strategy effectiveness and recommend optimizations when needed
- 3+ years of experience in influencer or creator marketing, including direct collaboration with creators
- Deep understanding of creator needs and challenges throughout their content journey
- Strong familiarity with creators, and leading influencer campaigns in Thailand
- Proven ability to work with Influencer agencies and vendors
- Proven experience managing and collaborating from kickoff through execution
- Knowledge of influencer marketing best practices across major social platforms
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Established network of influencers, including experience working with creators, streamers, and talent agencies
- Familiarity with gaming culture and player communities
- Experience developing strategies to localize campaigns for targeted audience
- Experience with Games as a Service model titles
- Understanding of your market’s popular social platforms
- Experience facilitating collaborations between developers and creators
