Infield Site Supervisor – Chinchilla

2 weeks on and 2 weeks off – DIDO or local applicant – accommodation supplied for DIDO

The Role –

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Infield Site Supervisor in Chinchilla to oversee and coordinate various aspects of our operations within the Oil and Gas sector. The Infield Site Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient transport services, maintaining accurate stock records, and upholding high standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and processes effectively.

This is a role where leadership, customer excellence and operational efficiency all come together, and you will need to drive high standards whilst ensuring the site is being run safely and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities and Decisions -

  • Coordinate and oversee transport services for pick up and deliveries to and from the site, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials.

  • Possess comprehensive product knowledge of tubular items, allowing for informed decision-making and effective communication with team members.

  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and that an ongoing commitment to safety is maintained including proactive actions to identify and reduce workplace hazards.

  • Address and fulfill all and or any site/facility maintenance requests and equipment maintenance promptly and efficiently.

  • Uphold a safe working environment by consistently adhering to established safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety awareness.

What you’ll need to succeed –

  • Supervisor/Management experience in transport, logistics or related industry. 

  • Exposure to Warehousing and familiarisation and experience with handling and transporting industrial equipment commonly used in Mining or Oil and Gas Environment.

  • Work within an autonomous role and lead a safety obsessed focussed workplace.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.

  • Proficient computer skills with good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
