Find your purpose as an Infection Prevention RN with CentraCare. In conjunction with the CentraCare Infection Prevention and Control Program, the Infection Prevention RN assists in the coordination of surveillance of data and prevention and control of infection. Uses multiple sources to aid in the collection and analysis of surveillance data. Provides supportive data to the Infection Control Committee, when applicable. Assists in the application of epidemiological principles and appropriate. Provides patient/resident and family centered care. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Supports and implements patient/resident safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
- Monday - Friday hours between 7a-5p
- Onsite in St. Cloud with travel to other locations necessary
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $87,193.60 per year and increases with experience
- Salary range: $87,193.60 - $130,873.60 per year
- Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program required. Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred.
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Nursing must be obtained within (3) years.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience as an RN.
- Experience with statistical work preferred.
- Certified Infection Control Certification in Infection Control must be obtained within 3 years.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
- Experience with statistical work preferred.
- Evidence of effectiveness in teamwork preferred.
- Basic knowledge in epidemiologic principles relevant to infection surveillance, prevention and control.
- Evidence of critical thinking skills, experience and skill with patient and staff education, experience in working with teams, can demonstrate skills in communication, delegation, conflict management and other group processes and techniques.
- Computer user skills required.
- Evidence of effectiveness in teamwork preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling of work hours to meet organizational needs is required.
- A valid driver's license in good standing required.
