Pay range: $53.71/hour - $60/hour depending on years of experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Infection Control Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland.
The Infection Control Coordinator - RN develops and updates policies and procedures related to infection control with current standards of practice. This person collaborates with healthcare leaders, ensures compliance with isolation techniques and local, state and custodial leadership in the event of an outbreak to control and contain the disease spread.
Qualifications- Active RN license to practice in Maryland
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a public health or acute care setting with a focus on Infection Control
- APIC Certification (CIC – Certification in Infection Control) preferred
- Experience working in corrections preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Skills Required
