Summary of the Role:
We are expanding our Services organization and looking to add two new Industry Solutions Consultants (Systems Specialists) to our North America team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their unique business needs and implement M-Files solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and productivity. This is a consultative, customer-facing position that blends technical problem solving with business process understanding, ideal for professionals who enjoy helping organizations optimize how they work.
While not required, experience supporting customers within the manufacturing or professional services sectors is highly valued, as these industries represent growing areas of focus for our team.
What You Will Be Doing / Responsibilities and Duties:
Customer Consultation & Solution Design
- Consult with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored M-Files solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Lead solution implementations by defining customer requirements and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Provide industry-specific guidance to help clients optimize document and knowledge management workflows.
- Advise on best practices for process automation, compliance, and information governance within targeted industries.
Implementation & Enablement
- Serve as a project lead on small to mid-sized implementations, ensuring projects are executed on time and meet client expectations.
- Facilitate training and enablement sessions to empower customers to maximize the value of their M-Files solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, presenting industry-focused solutions to prospective clients.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner closely with colleagues across Services, Sales, and Product to ensure customer success and continuous feedback loops.
- Participate in internal projects to refine delivery methodologies, templates, and documentation practices.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and industry trends to help shape product innovation and roadmap discussions.
Collaboration Opportunities
- Partner with Senior Systems Specialists, Solution Architects, and Business Consultants to deliver end-to-end customer success.
- Work collaboratively with Key Account Managers to align solution delivery with strategic customer goals.
- Engage with Project Managers and subcontractors in larger customer projects as needed.
Requirements
Who You Are / Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage customers in meaningful discussions about process optimization, technology adoption, and solution design.
- Strong consultative background, ideally with exposure to tax, accounting, audit, insurance brokerage, wealth-management, management consulting, or manufacturing.
- Experience in business automation or enterprise content management solutions.
- Proven ability to document client requirements and create solution specifications.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills to ensure successful deployments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and translate customer needs into actionable outcomes.
- Curiosity and capability to learn new technologies and methods quickly.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with Windows-based environments (Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL Server, Active Directory).
- Experience working with databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# is beneficial.
