Summary of the Role:

The Industry Solution Consultant / Consultant works closely with customers to understand their unique business needs and implement M-Files solutions that drive efficiency and productivity. This role requires deep industry expertise and a consultative approach to help organizations within tax, accounting, audit, insurance brokerage, wealth management, and management consulting achieve their strategic goals.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Consult with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored M-Files solutions that align with industry best practices.
  • Lead solution implementations by defining customer requirements and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Provide industry-specific guidance to help clients optimize document and knowledge management workflows.
  • Facilitate training and enablement sessions for customers, ensuring they maximize the value of M-Files solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities and present industry-focused solutions to prospective clients.
  • Serve as a project lead on small to mid-sized implementations, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise on best practices for process automation, compliance, and document management within targeted industry verticals.

Collaboration Opportunities

  • Guidance from Senior Systems Specialist, Solution Architect, or Business Consultant (depending on selected team, Business Solution or Technical Consulting)
  • Working together with Key Account Manager in customer projects
  • Working according to guidance by Project Manager in large projects
  • Working together with Solution Architect in large projects
  • Working with subcontractors in customer projects
Requirements

Experience:

  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to engage customers in meaningful discussions about industry challenges and solutions.
  • Experience in tax, accounting, audit, insurance brokerage, wealth management, or management consulting.
  • Knowledge of business automation processes and enterprise content management solutions.
  • Proven ability to document client requirements and create solution specifications.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills to drive successful solution deployments.
  • Experience using enterprise software solutions, with a focus on business process optimization.
  • Strong people skills and an ability to listen to the customer and translate their needs into specific actions and solutions
  • Ability to drive projects to completion and manage issues
  • Capability and interest for learning new methods and techniques
  • Experience and knowledge of Windows-based environments, including Windows server and Workstations, IIS and MS SQL Server, Active Directory and Group Policies, is helpful
  • Experience and working knowledge of databases and SQL language, is helpful
  • Experience and working knowledge of programming languages (e.g. C#), is helpful
