The Industry Growth Leader is responsible for strategic oversight and directing tactical support needed to drive high growth within an industry or service practice.
The Industry Growth Leader works closely with Industry or Service Practice leadership to develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals. The Growth Leader is focused on increasing pipeline, generating leads, supporting client expansion, and growing revenue to meet targets between 15% and 20% organic growth.
Eighty percent of focus is on pipeline management and client account planning to drive top line results. 20% of focus is on lead generation campaigns such as event or partner marketing. The Industry Growth leader plays a key role in integration of new partners from mergers into the industry group, ensuring adoption of CRM, pipeline management and account planning process.
Responsibilities and Expectations of the Segment Growth Leaders:
- Works with Industry Leader to create a growth plan that include a go-to-market strategy, lead generation plan and capacity plan that will produce sustainable growth.
- Develop expertise regarding Aprio services and the industry, using knowledge of trends, market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities within the industry.
- Analyzes financial, sales pipeline, marketing analytics and other performance metrics to have complete understanding of business metrics related growth targets.
- Manages weekly or monthly pipeline calls.
- Trains team members regarding account management processes and use of AI tools to help identify client expansion opportunities.
- Provides pursuit team coaching on new business opportunities and client expansion.
- Develops and maintains Ideal Client Profiles to guide go to market efforts.
- Works with Industry Leader to identify new services, solutions or offerings needed to comprehensively serve clients to drive growth and achieve strong client retention.
- Develops and provides direction for lead generation plans in partnership with the corporate marketing & business development team.
- Digital marketing: PPC campaigns, email.
- Lead Generation Events: manages content and sales strategy for webcasts, speaking engagements and sponsored events to achieve 10X ROI.
- Outbound campaigns: works with Outbound BD team to obtain meetings with prospects.
- Sales assets: provide direction for development of sales collateral, proposal assets.
- Thought leadership content: provides direction for articles, videos, whitepapers.
- Public relations: works with Communications to drive awareness and leads from press releases, speaker placements, and pitching of articles to trade publications and national/regional media.
