ABOUT US

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.

We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

Are you looking to kick‑start your career and gain real‑world experience in the financial services industry?

Swift is the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services. We are the way the world moves value — across borders, between institutions, and across the global economy. No other organization operates at our scale or with our level of trust, precision, and reliability, and we’re proud to play a critical role in enabling the global financial ecosystem.

As part of Swift’s Corporate Office, you will join the Industry Engagement team and work closely with senior industry experts to support our global engagement with standard setting bodies, market infrastructures, and industry associations that shape and drive the global financial ecosystem.

We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic team player who is serious about developing real‑world experience in the payments and financial services industry.

You will be curious, analytical, eager to learn about emerging challenges and opportunities, and proactive in contributing across all aspects of the team’s work.

This internship will give you a solid understanding of the critical role Swift plays in global finance and exposure to fast‑moving developments shaping the future of the industry. You will develop both soft and hard skills, undertake analysis on topical issues, and have opportunities to present insights to senior stakeholders.
