Industry Data Analyst II

As an Industry Data Analyst within the Corporate Operations team, your role involves supporting key business functions through data preparation, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Analytics team transforms electronic messages and prepares data to be used for advanced techniques such as statistics and trend analysis providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. By optimizing business processes and supporting data-driven decision-making, you contribute directly to improving overall operational performance and enhancing the company's growth and success. 
DTN is looking for an Industry Data Analyst II to join our team out of our Omaha, NE office.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Completes tasks on time by staying on schedule and meeting deadlines. 

• Reviews work thoroughly, identifying, and correcting errors to ensure high-quality results. 

• Follows professional standards and team procedures to maintain compliance. 

• Effectively works with numerical data, using technology to analyze information. 

• Identifies data collection methods, performs analyses, and communicates findings clearly. 

• Follows general instructions to ensure data accuracy and completeness. 

• Provides input on data capture methods and ensures compliance with guidelines and governance policies. 

Technical Skills: 

• Strong passion for working with numbers and data, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights 

• Proficient in Excel, with experience in using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions 

• Skilled in Access for designing and managing queries to streamline data handling 

• Capable of troubleshooting file-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency 

• Skilled in collaborating with internal and external customers, addressing data-related concerns by verbal and written communication. 

• Experienced in generating detailed reports for both internal and external stakeholders 

• Expertise in Word for creating and formatting professional documents 

• Proficient in Outlook for efficient communication and scheduling

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $52,500 and $70,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will depend on many factors, including prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
