Overview of the Industrials Team

The EMEA Industrials team at Moelis & Company provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients across EMEA. Led by senior bankers with extensive experience across the sector, the team advises a diverse range of industrial companies, including those in manufacturing, transportation, building products, capital goods, automotive, and engineered systems.

Our team combines deep sector expertise with a global perspective to support clients through an era of industrial transformation, shaped by supply chain realignment, technological innovation, sustainability initiatives, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Position Description:

We are seeking a Vice President to join our EMEA Industrials investment banking team. This individual will take a leadership role in the origination and execution of M&A and capital-raising transactions, managing day-to-day deal processes, and overseeing junior team members. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, sector expertise, and leadership skills to deliver outstanding client outcomes across a broad range of Industrials subsectors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including leverage buyout models, discounted cash flow, multiple valuation analysis, merger and acquisition accretion/dilution analysis and credit analysis for client and investor presentations
• Quarterback all phases of M&A and capital advisory transactions, from initial pitch to closing.
• In combination with the MD, take ownership of the strategic narrative in client presentations, challenging assumptions and ensuring the delivery of differentiated, high-impact advice.
• Develops investment scenarios and corresponding presentation/ prospectus material, coordinated marketing for public private securities offerings, valuation analysis, business plans, and financial projections
• Leverages Firm's capital markets, proprietary research and analytical capabilities to provide to provide superior investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition and capital markets services
• Monitors relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information, and other important assessments in the financial sector.
• Works directly with Leadership and Managing Directors in all facets of the business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and transaction processing
• Work alongside MDs to identify new opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to the team's commercial success.
• Actively manage and develop Analyst and Associate talent, ensuring analytical rigor and fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to apply fundamentals of economic and financial analysis methods for business decisions, finance, accounting, business statistics, marketing, investment, financial forecasting and marketing at a high level
• Deep understanding of the Industrials landscape, including key trends, valuation drivers, and the competitive environment. Having a knowledge of the Automative subsector is a benefit.
• Experience supervising Analyst and Associate level staff in research & analysis and ensuing transactions within the investment banking sector
• Demonstrated maturity, presence, attention to detail, initiative and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively adapt to and address changing client and firm needs.
• Undergraduate degree; focus in finance, business, accounting, economics or mathematics is preferred
