Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies through acquisition and long-term tactical and financial guidance. We’re experienced operators and subject-matter experts with a passion for software and building businesses. We partner with founders to help them scale their businesses and realize their companies’ full potential.

We look for businesses with strong leadership and high potential for profitable growth, and work together to increase year-over-year revenue, company efficiency, and impact. Cordance envisions that all companies we work with achieve their full potential. We embrace what makes each company great and build on those foundations. We believe in elevating a company as it scales, delivering dignity to the organization and its employees, and sharing a passion for building a legacy.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you’re the operational backbone of the marketing team. You’ll enable campaign execution, manage internal workflows, coordinate with design/agency/vendor partners, and ensure everything from creative to scheduling to metrics readiness is executed cleanly. This is a role with high visibility and responsibility for ensuring no detail falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, ad creative, and other assets.
  • Coordinate reviews, feedback loops, and revisions across design, content, product, and legal teams.
  • Maintain a central marketing calendar with deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Version control and file management (e.g. naming conventions, asset libraries, backups).
  • Track progress via project management tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, etc.).
  • Communicate briefs, timelines, specs, and approvals with event vendors.
  • Follow up on deliverables and escalate as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics: venue, caterers, audio/visual, travel, registrations, materials, swag.
  • Support webinar setup (platform, invites, technical run-throughs), follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Ensure UTM tagging, campaign tracking setup, and consistent naming conventions.
  • Assist in performance reporting and variance analysis.
  • Process purchase orders (POs), invoices, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain vendor/contact databases, mailing lists, and marketing collateral inventories.

Competencies:

  • Operational Precision and Quality Control: Maintains exceptional attention to detail across campaign assets, documentation, and deliverables. Ensures error-free execution through rigorous QA, version control, and adherence to brand and technical standards.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipates obstacles in timelines, resources, or deliverables before they escalate. Takes initiative to resolve issues independently or surface them early with clear recommendations. Demonstrates accountability for keeping projects on track.
  • Clear and Professional Communication: Communicates updates, dependencies, and action items succinctly and accurately across teams and stakeholders. Adapts communication style for cross-functional audiences — from creative teams to senior leadership.
  • Organizational and Time Management Excellence: Manages multiple projects simultaneously with structured prioritization. Uses project management tools and documentation to maintain visibility into status, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Collaborative Team Orientation: Works seamlessly across functions (design, product, content, sales) and with external partners or vendors. Builds trust through reliability, responsiveness, and attention to shared goals.
  • Data and Process Awareness: Understands how operational details connect to marketing outcomes. Applies analytical curiosity to campaign performance and process improvement, verifying data accuracy, spotting anomalies, and suggesting refinements.
  • Continuous Learning and Growth Mindset: Demonstrates curiosity and eagerness to learn new marketing tools, channels, and processes. Actively seeks feedback, absorbs best practices, and contributes to team-wide knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or related role.
  • Familiarity with productivity tools (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365), project tools (Asana, Trello, Monday).
  • Basic exposure to a marketing automation or email platform (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp), CMS, or social scheduling tool.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage vendor communication, event logistics, and creative review cycles efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with comfort working in data-driven or process-oriented environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS or multi-channel marketing teams with campaign or event coordination.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics, Looker, or similar).
  • Skilled in project management systems (Asana, Monday, Trello) and workflow optimization.
  • Strong grasp of QA, version control, and asset management best practices.
  • Exposure to social media scheduling, CMS, and email marketing platforms a plus.
  • Interest in growing into campaign operations, demand generation, or marketing project management roles.

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited resumes, work on a Corp-to-Corp basis, or engage with non-vetted external agencies.
