In the role of Industrialization Project Manager, you will connect product development and manufacturing to ensure that new products are designed for efficient, scalable, and quality-focused production.

The team you will be part of:
Based at our global HQ in Ballerup, you will join the Global Industrialization Product Management team with more than 30 colleagues working across product industrialization and manufacturing technology.

You will work in an international environment with R&D teams in Denmark, Italy, the US, and China, assembly sites globally, and manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia.

We value collaboration across cultures and disciplines, and we challenge existing practices to develop increasingly automated, large-scale manufacturing processes.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Own DFX compliance in assigned new product development projects, ensuring products are designed for automated assembly, testing, and repair while meeting quality and cost targets
• Act as the technical interface between design teams and manufacturing sites throughout the journey from early concept to large-scale production
• Manage industrialization activities across disciplines, including hardware, materials, cost, and audio, to support timely and coordinated delivery
• Integrate automation and new manufacturing technologies into production design, while promoting knowledge sharing and reuse across projects
• Support and oversee first builds at manufacturing sites, ensuring relevant industrialization guidelines are applied
• Contribute to technology projects, primarily within automation and robotics, and support the development and execution of the industrialization strategy
• Travel globally when needed to support manufacturing initiatives and collaboration with production sites
  

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• Bring experience with Industry 4.0, automation, and the design or optimization of medium- to high-volume production lines
• Have worked with electromechanical products and manufacturing processes, including assembly fixtures and carrier plates
• Bring experience with project management and a structured approach to planning, coordinating, and following through on activities
• Have knowledge of DFX, including Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, Design for Repair, automation, and cost
• Communicate openly and collaborate effectively across stakeholders, maintaining a solutions-oriented approach in challenging situations
• Well-structured, goal-oriented, and co-operative with a mindset
