Industrial Engineer play a vital role in complex engineering projects core responsibility for support Project Team and Site on the lines risk analysis assessment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main areas of responsibilities are:

  • Achievement of timing, quality and cost targets
  • Assure the use of company standards (product, processes, norms)
  • Support in development of the risk analysis activity for tooling, robotic cells and automated systems, in order to assure, the compliance to all the safety norms.
  • Support risk assessments (e.g. PFMEA, MFMEA, Ergonomic Analysis, Hazard Assessments) for new and modified tooling
  • Participate in development of throughput analysis DES models
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as OSHA, ANSI, ISO 12100, ISO 13849 and local regulations.
  • Support Safety Analysis during all project phases, participate in tooling design reviews giving continuous feedbacks to the Project Team
  • Validate guarding, interlocks, lockout points, pinch-point protection, emergency stop etc.
  • On site checks. In order to verify the correct line installation and commissioning vs the safety requirements
  • Verifies the contents of the technical file and develops the CE document certification.
  • Investigate tooling-related incidents, near-misses, and failures.
  • Assist in corrective actions and develop long-term safety improvements.
  • Deliver training to operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers on proper tooling use.
Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Education :
    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field.
    • Reading comprehension of technical documents
  • Previous experiences
    • Minimum three years of work experience in automotive development (Hardware or Software), industrial, manufacturing or industrial safety engineering
  • Languages
    • English intermediate
    • 2nd language is recommended

  • Knowledge and Experience of declaration of conformity

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Safety Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum three years work experience in automotive development, industrial, manufacturing or industrial safety engineering
  • Reading comprehension of technical documents
  • English intermediate
  • Second language (recommended)
  • Knowledge of safety and risk assessment analysis (PFMEA, MFMEA, Ergonomic/Hazard Assessments)
  • Functional safety management experience per ISO26262, ISO13849, IEC62061
  • Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, ISO 12100 and local safety regulations
  • Safety functional Performance Level (PL) calculation and safety device definition
  • Ability to validate guarding, interlocks, lockout points, pinch-point protection, emergency stops
  • Experience creating hazard and risk analyses and safety proofs
  • Throughput analysis / Discrete Event Simulation (DES) model participation
  • Experience verifying line installation and commissioning against safety requirements (on-site checks)
  • Experience preparing technical files and CE certification documentation (declaration of conformity)
  • Investigate tooling-related incidents, near-misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to deliver training to operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers on tooling and safety
  • Technical report creation and general-purpose IT tools proficiency
  • Probability and statistical analysis skills
  • Moderation and participation in technical design and safety reviews; close cooperation with project teams and customers
  • Knowledge of machinery maintenance requirements and manual/instruction development
