CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Designing and implementing production processes and systems that improve efficiency and quality.
- Conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Work towards increasing efficiency and safety throughout all production systems.
- Analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborating with other engineers and managers to develop and implement process improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Preparing reports and presentations on production data and process improvements.
- Is a team player who excels working in-person and connecting with remote partners.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage to goals and support the OTD and quality of production output.
- Willing to present at meetings or submit papers based on work.
- Has strong customer focus.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based upon organizational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Attending an accredited University and achieved a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience implementing lean production systems.
- Experience level loading times based on time studies and analytical tools.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
- Expertise with kaizen methodologies, TPM, DMAIC problem solving, process mapping, and other lean manufacturing tools.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, MS Visio.
