Position Summary:
Industrial Engineer within Aptiv is responsible for managing engineering changes, coordinating implementation activities, and ensuring that project documentation meets all required standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defines requirements related to investments and costs in engineering changes, "Model Year Changes"
- Coordinates the implementation of engineering activities with a multidisciplinary team
- Reports on project progress, ensuring deadlines are met, and provide updates on improvements and innovations
- Prepares and maintains project documentation for various purposes (internal use, certifications, customers, etc.)
- Performs preparatory activities for BOM in SAP/GSD
- Organizes and leads internal meetings on D/PFMEA, BOD, Equipment Design, Problem-Solving Activities, and APQP, while driving team productivity improvements
- Validates new components, creates and maintains project files
- Analyzes and implements engineering changes
- Prepares BOM and enters data into SAP
Requirements:
- Minimum High school education, preferably University or Higher education
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and processes is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Advanced Microsoft Office
- Enthusiastic, initiative, ready for teamwork
- Responsibility and accuracy in performing tasks
