Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Industrial Engineer based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

What You’ll get to Do:
Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develop metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance.
Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
Communicates requirements, planning, and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations.

Solid presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas.
Microsoft Office Excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables, or data visualization software applications.

Basic Qualifications Industrial Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of industrial engineering or manufacturing experience.
Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages.
Experience with Tableau or other reporting software.
Experience monitoring , scheduling, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server database.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications Industrial Engineer:
Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods.
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Experience with Lean manufacturing methods.
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP system.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
2 years of experience leading project teams.
