What You Will Do

  • Determine staffing needs and adjust labor requirements based on production demands and plant capacity.

  • Partner with engineering to conduct efficiency studies, support capital expenditure justifications, and improve plant layout.

  • Support production teams by addressing labor issues, resolving grievances, and acting as a resource for workforce-related challenges.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to pay structures and operational processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams.

  • Exposure to unionized environments and labor relations processes is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical skills, including knowledge of MOST, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
