ATI is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Cudahy, WI.  This position reports to Engineering Manager As a successful Industrial Engineer, you will be part of a tactical team that plays a crucial role in the overall production processes and standards of our facility.


Essential Functions:

  • Work with manufacturing, engineering, production planning and finance to determine throughputs in various critical equipment
  • Develop manufacturing standards for products and processes and correlate with the actual production reports. Provide insight into the operations to improve the engineering processes of the current products and cost estimation for the new products.
  • Contribute to the Product Realization cycle which includes Estimation, Customer Order review, Manufacturing using various work-centers, Cost improvements.
  • Develop and improve production, manufacturing, and process efficiency for various work centers as a leader of cross function team
  • Provide feedback of the work center and manufacture process analysis to leaders of the cross functional group
  • Learn and access the ERP system to extract data for analysis
  • Support the manufacturing incentive system using ERP reports and time-studies.
  • Utilize regression technique to seek and develop trends.
  • Disposition products for rework or clears parts through inspection operation for continued processing.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)

  • At least one year of experience working with manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Programming experience with C++, visual basic, or python

  • Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills along with the ability to recommend and implement corrective action.
  • Ability to work towards and meet KPI’s and metrics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Skills Required
