The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. You will gain valuable experience in production layouts, process mapping, workstation design, and continuous improvement while contributing to projects that help drive productivity and operational excellence.

What Will You Do?- Assist with production line moves, layout modifications, and process change initiatives.
- Support Industrial Engineers in planning and preparing manufacturing areas for equipment or process changes.
- Maintain and update the Industrial Engineering Database (IEDB) and other engineering systems.
- Create and update production visuals, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and validating production tooling and equipment.
- Support process standardization efforts in alignment with Jabil's global, regional, and site requirements.
- Help ensure data accuracy and integrity to support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement projects focused on efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and engineering projects.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous internship, project work, or academic experience related to manufacturing, process improvement, or industrial engineering is a plus.
- Experience working on engineering projects, process mapping, or data analysis through coursework is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of industrial engineering concepts including work measurement, process mapping, facilities layout, and workstation design.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate data and documentation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, or AutoCAD.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma concepts.
