The Industrial Engineer Associate plays a key role in improving workforce productivity, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining wage incentive plans, conducting labor and staffing analyses, and providing data-driven recommendations to support production goals. The role partners closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and labor teams to optimize personnel and equipment utilization while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

What You Will Do
Develop and maintain time standards, paperwork rates, and incentive wage plans while evaluating ergonomic and motion-related factors within manufacturing positions.
Analyze staffing requirements and determine labor needs based on production demand fluctuations and plant capacity.
Conduct job analyses to evaluate responsibilities, skill requirements, physical demands, and working conditions for manufacturing positions.
Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams to perform efficiency studies, support capital expenditure justifications, and recommend facility layout improvements.
Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives while serving as a resource to production teams.
Assist with labor-related issues, grievances, arbitration support, and compensation recommendations as appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
2+ years of experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams to achieve cost-effective operational goals.
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
Ability to effectively collaborate across production, engineering, maintenance, and management teams.
