Industrial Data & Software Engineer
Are you passionate about data, software and smart manufacturing?
Thales is looking for an Industrial Data & Software Engineer to develop data-driven solutions that improve manufacturing performance and help shape our Industry 4.0 future.
What you’ll do
Build and automate data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools such as Node-RED.
Design and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for industrial data.
Develop dashboards and analytics to improve manufacturing performance.
Use Python, JavaScript and statistical analysis to identify inefficiencies and support process improvement.
Support IoT, machine monitoring, smart tooling and predictive maintenance solutions.
Work with engineering and operational teams to take solutions from requirements through to deployment.
What we’re looking for
Strong Python and JavaScript programming skills.
Experience building data pipelines and ETL solutions.
SQL and NoSQL database experience.
Statistical analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.
Linux/Unix experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
A relevant technical degree, such as Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Desirable
Experience with MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP, machine learning/AI, C++, Digital Twins, MATLAB, Minitab, Simulink, WITNESS or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage.
