Job DescriptionWNET seeks a fundraising professional to join the Individual Giving team in cultivating, soliciting, and engaging our Patron donors who support WNET’s work with gifts ranging from $1,500 to $24,999 each year.
The Individual Giving Associate reports to the Director of Individual Giving and supports all operational aspects of solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of individual Patron donors. They will be a key player in cultivating a rapidly growing mid-level giving Patron Program at WNET.
Responsibilities include:
Manage dedicated communication lines (phone and email) for Patrons, providing primary donor relations support including Passport troubleshooting, gift facilitation, and tax acknowledgements;
Assist in the execution and implementation of a robust patron stewardship program, including the creation and distribution of the monthly Patron Newsletter, new patron outreach, and weekly gift acknowledgements, Annual Review, and annual donor statements;
Assist with program-wide administration related to fundraising initiatives, proposals, and special campaigns;
In collaboration with Gift Processing and Development Operations, maintain rigorous data hygiene for patron constituency in donor database (Salesforce);
Build strong personal relationships with mid-level donors through strategic phone calls, personalized email communications, and events participation;
Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors from $1,500 to $10,000+;
Provide essential in-person and virtual event support for the Patron Program and other donor engagement opportunities throughout the year;
Additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess effective communication skills, strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to interact professionally and comfortably with senior executives, external partners, and donors. Experience working in a collaborative team environment is a plus. Additional qualifications include:
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience;
Working knowledge of donor database management (experience in Salesforce preferred);
Availability to participate in evening events.

The WNET Group offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
