Indirect Tax Specialist

to a greater purpose join our Team. As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) are now hiring an Indirect Tax (Senior) Specialist with a passion for tax compliance, digital transformation, and helping patients.
As a Indirect Tax (Senior) Specialist you will be responsible for Tax compliance focusing on VAT.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:
- Coordinating the preparation of Indirect Tax compliance with service provider in relation to complex entities located across EUCAN and GEM countries
- Liaising with and support the central Tax team on a regular basis in the area of VAT Compliance
- Verifying, communicating and implementing legislative changes within the region
- Supporting corporate projects in the area of indirect tax
- Supporting innovative solutions, improvements as well as tax projects run globally
- Harmonization of processes and procedures within Global Tax
- Supporting teams in ad hoc questions
- Supporting corporate projects in are of taxes
Required qualifications:
- Good knowledge of accounting and taxes, especially VAT, preferably within an international environment
- A proficient English speaker
- Practical knowledge of SAP and MS Office programs, especially MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Academic background in accounting or economics
- Experience in other taxes would be an asset
- Accounting knowledge
- Additional language would be beneficial
- Improvement-oriented mindset
