Position Overview:
The Indirect Tax Analyst EIMEA will support the Indirect Tax Department, reporting to Global Indirect Tax Manager, supervising projects in the Finance area and Business support. This role deal with all Indirect Tax related questions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support indirect tax teams located in EIMEA.
- Participate and report the indirect tax activity in Latam and Core Europe.
- Participate in the analysis to cross-check information on VAT customs returns / Accounting / Statistic information when applicable.
- Support trade and intercompany business, by designing efficient supply-chain between several countries.
- Support the implementation of projects.
- Follow VAT assessments / Audit from Tax Authorities.
- Support all the implementation projects related to VAT in digital age, e-invoicing implementations, etc.
- Participate in the creation and support controlling a program for VAT transactions audit in a regular basis.
- Collaborate with the company’s Management team to fulfill the Integrated Management System, complying with the principles established on H.B. Fuller’s Internal Policies, as well as all established Procedures and Work instructions.
- Proactively interact with key client management to gather information and contribute to indirect tax issues resolution.
- Provide Audit support.
- Keep all SOX requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Big 4 company or international Shared Service experience.
- Accounting knowledge, including journal entries, VAT codes, compliance reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of software, systems and technology (Excel and other software).
- Available to learn and navigate a new world of Tax Platforms and VAT on Digital Age needs.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems [SAP].
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Communication skills to bridge different Finance teams, Business and external tax advisors.
- Presenting and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in teams.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to work well under deadlines and pressure.
- International mindset and strong customer focus.
- Excellent command of English languages.
