We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team based in KONE Italy, Pero (MI).

Procurement Team is a team of professionals aiming to support Business by involving best Suppliers in terms of quality, timely delivery and price. We help Business from tender phase till final implementation of Customer Orders.
The Position:
The Indirect Procurement Specialist supports, develops and executes Procurement plans closely together with local operations. He/She identifies local opportunities, manages supplier relationships and tenders, including contract negotiations and price analysis, with the aim of optimizing costs and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning & Execution: Develop and implement procurement plans in alignment with local operational needs and global objectives.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Identify opportunities, manage relationships, and oversee tenders, ensuring competitive and transparent processes.
- Negotiations & Cost Optimization: Conduct contract negotiations and perform price analyses to optimize costs and reduce risks while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Strategy & Project Leadership: Lead or support the rollout of local and global procurement strategies and projects.
- Indirect Procurement Management: Lead the procurement and operational management of Car Fleet category, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs. Oversee other key indirect procurement categories, including ICT, Professional Services and Travel, ensuring value-oriented solutions.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor/Master’s degree in Economics or High School Diploma
- Professional Experience: 3 or more years of working into a matrix and international organization
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the Indirect procurement categories, such as Car Fleet, Travel, ICT and Facilities Professional Services.
- Organizational and project management capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder/supplier management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficiency in IT tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, other MS Office suite applications, SAP)
