This role sits within Stryker’s global indirect procurement organization and plays a critical role in shaping how commercial and manufacturing functions across EMEA manage external spend. You will lead high‑impact sourcing initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and directly contribute to cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and service excellence across multiple indirect categories.
What you will do
- Lead pan‑European sourcing and savings initiatives exceeding €100K across marketing, professional services, information technology, telecommunications, and human resources services.
- Support and guide country‑level sourcing initiatives below €100K, ensuring alignment with regional and global procurement strategies.
- Develop and execute category‑level sourcing strategies in partnership with spend owners and finance to deliver measurable cost and service improvements.
- Own end‑to‑end procurement projects, from opportunity identification through contract signature, delivering agreed savings and implementation targets.
- Drive competitive tendering, supplier negotiations, and contracting to bring suppliers with spend above €100K under contract and support contracting for €10K–€100K suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance and supplier development activities for owned categories, including risk reduction and security of supply.
- Reduce supplier complexity by rationalizing the supplier base and increasing spend through preferred and contracted suppliers with negotiated rate cards.
- Report savings, contracts, and project outcomes in line with defined processes and lead regular regional reviews with key stakeholders.

- Fluency in English.
