Job SummaryRepresent the credit union in a professional manner while Marketing Indirect Lending services to the auto dealerships in Montana. As well as collecting funds owed by the dealership to the credit union, along with other duties entailed in point of sale/dealer financing.

*The territory for this position includes and is not limited to the following areas in Montana*

  • Billings
  • Bozeman
  • Helena
  • Missoula

SCHEDULE

Full Time; Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Seeks new business while maintaining existing relationships with dealerships through Dealers marketing.
  • Negotiates with dealer finance managers.
  • Collects any funds owed to the credit union by the dealership per the CUDL dealer agreement.
  • Handles and resolves disputes with member, dealers, and branches.
  • perfects liens on all contracts purchased through the Indirect Lending Platform.
  • Works with the local branches making marketing calls to the dealerships in close proximity to the branch.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

Three to Five years of similar or related experience in the dealer or financial industry

Education

Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations

Must have a valid drivers license

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Adding machine/10-Key. Type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Basic computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality) Intermediate to advanced level skill for Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of credit union lending policies and procedures.
  • Must be able read credit bureaus, be self motivated, multi-task and detailed oriented.
  • Must have the ability to meet individual and departmental goals, knowledge and ability to use the internet and other computer software applications and perform basic clerical functions.
  • The ability to read and understand auto invoices, Kelley and NADA pricing guides.

Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently. Ability to stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
